Click here to access our book catalogue. It holds a few thousand of our books and makes it accessible for you to search for a particular title or author. While the selection showing is randomised you can enter a book title, author, or genre to narrow down your selection.
To make your own hold request (which you can then collect at your convenience during the library’s opening hours) search or click on the preferred title, enter the password (available to all active members – to request phone 03 477 6274 or email librarian@dunedinathenaeum.org.nz) and choose ‘Place Hold’. Then simply click on your membership number to confirm your selection.
Christine, our librarian, will then put the book on hold for you to collect. Uncollected holds will expire after a week.
